As for the “protection of the rights and freedoms” of Christian believers in Ukraine, namely believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the main focus of the organization’s activity is:
informing the Ukrainian and international society, as well as Ukrainian and international institutions responsible for the observance of human rights, about the state of affairs with the observance of human rights in Ukraine regarding freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom.

FREEDOM OF RELIGION IN UKRAINE
Article 24 and Article 35. Constitution of Ukraine:
Article 24. Citizens have equal constitutional rights and freedoms and are equal before the law. There can be no privileges or restrictions based on race, color, political, religious or other beliefs, sex, ethnic and social origin, property status, place of residence, language or other characteristics.
Article 34. Everyone is guaranteed the right to freedom of thought and speech, to the free expression of their views and beliefs.
Everyone has the right to freely collect, store, use and disseminate information orally, in writing or in any other way – of his choice.
Article 35. Everyone has the right to freedom of worldview and religion. This right includes the freedom to practice any religion or not to practice any religion, to conduct individual or collective religious cults and ritual rites, conduct religious activities without hindrance.

Article 1. Tasks of the Law
The tasks of this Law are: guaranteeing the right to freedom of conscience to citizens of Ukraine and exercising this right;
ensuring, in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Declaration on State Sovereignty of Ukraine and norms of international law recognized by Ukraine, social justice, equality, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens regardless of their attitude to religion;…
Article 3. The right to freedom of conscience
Every citizen in Ukraine is guaranteed the right to freedom of conscience. This right includes the freedom to have, adopt and change the religion or belief of one’s choice and the freedom, individually or in association with others, to practice any religion or no religion, to practice religious worship, to openly express and freely propagate one’s religious or atheistic beliefs.
No one can establish mandatory beliefs and worldview. No coercion is allowed when a citizen determines his attitude to religion, to professing or refusing to profess religion, to participating or not participating in religious services, religious rites and ceremonies, religious education.
Article 4. Equality of citizens regardless of their attitude to religion
Citizens of Ukraine are equal before the law and have equal rights in all spheres of economic, political, social and cultural life, regardless of their attitude to religion. Official documents do not indicate a citizen’s attitude to religion.
Any direct or indirect restriction of rights, establishing direct or indirect advantages of citizens depending on their attitude to religion, as well as inciting related enmity and hatred or offending the feelings of citizens, entail responsibility established by law.
Article 5. Separation of the church (religious organizations) from the state
The state protects the rights and legitimate interests of religious organizations; promotes the establishment of relations of mutual religious and ideological tolerance and respect between citizens who practice religion or not, between believers of different faiths and their religious organizations; takes into account and respects the traditions and internal instructions of religious organizations, if they do not contradict the current legislation.

All religions, faiths and religious organizations are equal before the law. Establishing any preferences or limitations of one religion, creed or religious organization over others is not allowed.
As for the “protection of rights and freedoms” of national minorities (communities) in Ukraine, namely the Ruthenian national minority and the indigenous people of Ukraine, the NGO “Pravozakhist Zakarpattia” is the main activity of the organization:
informing the Ukrainian and international society, as well as Ukrainian and international institutions responsible for the observance of human rights, about the state of affairs with the observance of human rights in Ukraine regarding the observance of the rights of national minorities, freedom of speech, and freedom of information.

Article 10. Ukrainian is the state language in Ukraine.
The state ensures comprehensive development and functioning of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of social life throughout the territory of Ukraine.
In Ukraine, the free development, use and protection of Russian and other languages of the national minorities of Ukraine is guaranteed.
The state promotes the learning of languages of international communication.
The use of languages in Ukraine is guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine and determined by law.
Article 11. The state promotes the consolidation and development of the Ukrainian nation, its historical consciousness, traditions and culture, as well as the development of the ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious identity of all indigenous peoples and national minorities of Ukraine.
Article 15. Social life in Ukraine is based on the principles of political, economic and ideological diversity.
No ideology can be recognized by the state as mandatory.

Article 21. All people are free and equal in their dignity and rights. Human rights and freedoms are inalienable and inviolable.
Article 22. The rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen, established by this Constitution, are not exhaustive.
Constitutional rights and freedoms are guaranteed and cannot be revoked.
When adopting new laws or making changes to existing laws, it is not allowed to narrow the content and scope of existing rights and freedoms.
Article 23. Every person has the right to the free development of his personality, provided that the rights and freedoms of other people are not violated, and he has obligations to the society in which the free and comprehensive development of his personality is ensured.
Article 157. The Constitution of Ukraine cannot be changed if the changes involve the cancellation or restriction of the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen, or if they are aimed at eliminating independence or violating the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
